🚀Action #0040 - Quit Your Job, Find Paradise & Earthians Unscripted

This newsletter is getting a new name, a new focus, and a new life.

Here we are #0040 Actions done and dusted. It is time for a new chapter, and I would like to invite you on this journey, by joining Earthians.

Do you have something that bothers you about the world? Something that makes you cringe, scream and cry with anguish? For me - it is the way we organize our society and specifically - the way we work.

The jobs people secretly and passionately hate (often denying this to themselves), a feeling of being completely unappreciated and unimportant, the fixed 9-to-5 working hours, the college degrees that are worth less than your toilet paper, the student loans, the managers who don’t know how to do the job that they are supposed to be managing, the startup funding that enslaves founders for decades. Oh my, I could go on, but my fingers are starting to hurt from punching the keyboard so hard.

In my view, this is the core problem, and wars as well as other disasters - are often the direct result of this, well I don’t think there is a better word for it - slavery.

So, instead of being the ‘sofa-commentator’, I decided to do something about it - and I am now launching Earthians, a community that is going to:

1. Help people break away from the scripted life of today (webinars, discussions, mentoring, sharing stories, creating content, etc.)

2. Build a platform, using Web 3.0 technology, where everyone will be able to become their own boss, while still contributing to larger projects.

3. Create a world of freedom, fairness, and trust.

To that end, this newsletter is going to change, and become “Earthians Unscripted” - a newsletter focusing on the future of work, unscripted lives, #antiwork sentiments, and individual freedom.

As the last action in the series, I would like to invite you to take a deeper look at your job, and to join me in discussing the future of work.

⚡ The Action

As the last action, let’s watch a video by Alan Watts (here it is) and do a simple exercise. Take out your pen and paper, and write a 20-page document on what is your idea of paradise.

And if you think that in this world - nobody would work 9-to-5, nobody would be enslaved by corporations, and nobody would be forced into a work that they hate.

💖 Personal Application

See, any real change in our world starts with you. If you don’t do it - who will? In my experience of working with corporations - there are a lot of people who are not happy and do not like the way things are, but who is speaking up? There is a lot of fear, some of which is very much real.

The more people speak out, and force their corporations to adapt - the quicker the change will be.

💸 Professional Application

The dream of becoming ‘wealthy’ through compound interest rate investments, and a solid career is just that - a dream. In reality, it rarely works out that way, and if it does - there is a huge tradeoff.

In my experience, there are much more reliable, and secure ways of accumulating wealth and financial success, despite the dogma against the alternative path.
